Rose Muralikrishnan - Profile
Rose Muralikrishnan is currently devoted herself with full time music teaching and performance  managing a
Carnatic music school, Spring Nectar Academy which  promotes south Asian Music, Fine, Theater and
Language Arts, founded and established along with her husband
N. Muralikrishnan a renowned Veena and
Carnatic keyboard performer and teacher, and her daughter
Amrithavarshini Muralikrishnan, a renowned
Carnatic Keyboard Performer, and a vocalist who is currently  pursuing on her a medical degree MBBS in India.

Rose specializes in training  students of all levels in Carnatic vocal tradition for concert preparedness and vocal
performances.  For those serious music learners who finds distance as a learning barrier to have Carnatic
Music Education, she goes one step further from the regular teachers to conducts vocal classes on the web
through Multi Media Web Cam with an objective of 'CARNATIC MUSIC FOR ALL'. With this new and innovative
teaching methodology many students not only have an access to Carnatic learning in their finger tips, but also
save their valuable time from traveling to teachers home in this fast-paced world.

Rose worked at San Diego State University, California, USA in 1991 as an Adjunct professor of South Indian
Music at the Department of World Music. She worked as a principal of the Carnatic music school at the
Santhome Communication Center, Chennai,  India from 1986-1989. Before she joined the center she worked
as a music instructor at the famous Jiddu Krishnamurthy Foundation, Rishi Valley School, Andra Pradesh, India.
