Rose Muralikrishnan's unique production entitled Gayaka Vadhya Brundham for the first time live in the United States at the prestigious Carpenter's Performing Arts Center in June 1996 was a master piece of the century, where a new life was given to over 2000 year old traditional art form called Vadhya Brundham (Orchestral music) of India. The unavailability of Indian music instruments or an eastern orchestra in the USA never stopped Rose by making her dream of reviving the art form come true. Rose brought over 70 instrumental and vocal performers involving a full Western Symphony Orchestra along with Indian musicians under one roof and trained them all on India classical style of music with out fading out the beauty and originality of Indian music and made the event possible in the USA was one of its kind in Carnatic music history in the USA.
Rose Muralikrishnan was a one of the experienced music composer and director in Indian classical music genre in India. She is also one of the few women music composer and directors in Indian Music history. Several famous leading performers such as Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, Sudha Raghunathan, Rajkumar Bharathi and many others sang under her music directions. Rose composed and directed music for many dance drama / Indian opera productions and worked with several well know Nattuvanars, Udupi Lakshminarayana, Adayar Lakshmanan, The Dhananjayans are to name a few.
