Vamana roopa maheswara puthra
Vigna vinayaka padha namasthe
Meaning:
I salute the feet of the God who clears obstacles, who rides on a mouse , who keeps a modhaka (A round lemon-sized sweet made of rice, coconut, sugar, etc) in his hand, Who has fan like ears , who wears a thread as belt, and who has a dwarf form , who is the son of Lord Shiva.
